THE ESSENTIALS

Warehouse and packing checklist at a glance

Review each item after warehouse arrival and record its storage deadline, unresolved questions and next action. Check return eligibility separately from storage time. Select accepted items for the parcel, confirm the packing request and verify the recipient details and quote before submitting it.

Warehouse arrival, inspection and item review

The official shopping workflow places inspection and storage before international parcel submission. You can select stored items for a shipment after that stage. Use warehouse arrival as the moment to review your order, rather than assuming the purchase is ready for export automatically.

Our suggested first task is a quick inventory. Match each stored order with your intended variant, list any missing information and assign a next action. This is especially useful when several packages arrive on different dates.

Storage deadlines, fees and return windows

At this review, the official fee page states 90 days of free storage, a usual 180-day maximum and paid storage or extension conditions. Its extension description distinguishes extending the maximum period from making later storage free. Check the timer and applicable terms for your own order; special situations may need clarification.

Keep your own intended shipping date ahead of the account deadline. If you want to wait for another purchase, check the older items first. An apparently generous storage allowance can hide the fact that different orders have different arrival dates.

Return eligibility is a separate question. Ask about it when an item arrives or a problem becomes apparent; do not wait for the storage timer to approach its limit. The ability to keep an item in the warehouse does not establish a continuing right to send it back to the seller.

Track each item’s review status and next step

Review this worksheet before selecting parcel contents. If an order is still waiting for a measurement, its status should make that obvious. A saved product card or a checked-out shopping basket does not provide this record for the actual warehouse item.

For sets, list the pieces expected to arrive together. For multiple identical orders, retain the order numbers so you can distinguish which one has a question. This small amount of organisation prevents a photograph from being attached to the wrong decision.

Confirm return eligibility, deadlines and costs

Superbuy’s second-hand service terms expressly state that used-item purchases under that service are not eligible for returns or exchanges. That is a specific service condition; it is not a general description of all marketplace purchases.

For any other order, confirm the current seller and service conditions rather than copying a deadline from an old guide. State the order reference, the issue and the evidence, and ask which options are actually available.

A useful enquiry includes the observed mismatch and the outcome you need: “The photographed size label differs from the option recorded on order [number]. Please confirm the available return or exchange process, the deadline and any costs before I submit this item for shipping.” Keep the response with that order’s review record.

THE IDEA, AT A GLANCE

Review items, check dates and prepare the parcel

  1. 1Review

Confirm the item and resolve missing information.

  2. 2Check the dates

Read the account timer and purchase-specific terms.

  3. 3Prepare to send

Choose packing, verify the address and review the quote.

Resolve item questions, check storage and return deadlines separately, then confirm the parcel contents and packing.

Packing instructions for shape, boxes and loose pieces

Describe the protection goal before choosing a service. A structured bag may need its shape preserved, shoes may need protection around their form, and a small accessory may need to stay with its matching item. Name those needs explicitly.

Decide whether retail packaging matters for gifting or storage. If you want it removed, clarify what should remain protected. If you want it retained, include its volume in your budget assumptions. The right decision depends on the contents, not a universal rule to keep or discard every box.

Ask whether a proposed treatment suits the specific item. Compression, extra wrapping or reinforcement can change dimensions and handling, so do not select them only from a service name. Keep the confirmed packing instructions with the parcel reference.

Check return implications before removing tags or packaging

Before requesting an irreversible change to the item or its original presentation, consider what you may need for an unresolved order question. Labels, included accessories and packaging can be relevant to identifying the product or discussing after-sales options.

If you are still deciding whether to keep an item, ask about those consequences before requesting changes. Do not assume that a packing instruction is automatically reversible. Resolve the acceptance decision first, then give the warehouse a clear instruction for the shipment you actually intend to send.

For a gift, write down which boxes or accessories must remain with which item. For a multi-item parcel, vague instructions such as “keep the important packaging” leave too much room for misunderstanding.

Final parcel check: items, address, packing and cost

Review the selected contents against your item-by-item record before submission. An item still awaiting a size check should be easy to spot. Read the recipient and postal details once more, then save the confirmed packing instructions and quoted amounts with the parcel reference.

  • Confirm that every selected order is ready and that no unresolved item was added accidentally.
  • Read the recipient name, full address, postal code and contact information carefully.
  • Check the actual contents and the current route information, including any item-specific questions.
  • Review the packing request and whether the estimate reflects that packing.
  • Understand the quoted amount, optional services and any further figure still awaiting confirmation.
  • Save the order list, instructions and parcel reference together for later tracking.

Check delivery against the warehouse records

Retain the relevant messages, warehouse photographs, selected order list and packing confirmation. If something arrives differently from what you expected, these records help you explain the actual discrepancy rather than reconstructing it from memory.

When opening the parcel, check the contents and included pieces against your list before disposing of the packaging. If there is a problem, use the provider’s current enquiry process with the parcel and order references. Avoid assuming a cause from a single photograph; explain what you can observe and supply the evidence requested.

Finally, update your personal notes on fit and packing. What you learn can improve the next shortlist, but it remains experience with those items and that shipment, rather than a new rule for every product or route.
